Dani Swary loves to do the art form called Pointillism. She will be doing her art craft by the fireplace area at the Carnegie Public Library on Wednesday July 18 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Here is a picture of one of her pieces, it is on display inside the library. She has entered two pieces in the Angola Regional Artist Guild Exhibit on display this month until June 28. Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image. The majority of pointillism is done in oil paints. Anything may be used in its place, but oils are preferred for their thickness and tendency not to run or bleed.
