A new walking/hiking club is forming in 2014. From Jan. 13 to May 4 you have an opportunity to walk with others in town, in parks and Acres properties. There is a wealth of places in Steuben County to walk.
Walking is habit-forming, it is simple and safe, improves your posture, requires no specials skills or equipment and can be done almost anywhere.

74 Walks are planned-hope you can make them all. Stop into the library for a walking schedule with dates, times and locations. If you want more information contact Dina t 665-3362.
Detailed fish prints are made by applying ink or paint directly to a real fish, then applying rice paper or fabric to the fish, and rubbing to receive the image. Eyes are then painted in and embellishments may be added to enhance the image. Seaweed and shells can be imprinted as well.
Everyone is welcome to attend, John and Sandy are members of the Angola Regional Artist Guild. You do not have to be an artist to come. Peter Fletcher Performs at Carnegie Public Library of Steuben County

One of the nation’s finest classical
guitarists, Peter Fletcher, will perform by the fountain area on Tuesday
May 21 at 6:30 pm. He has sold out Carnegie Hall in New York several
times! Fletcher began guitar study at the age of 7. In 1980,
he was the youngest student in the master class taught by Jose Tomas,
of Spain, Andres Segovia’s teaching assistant. He made his professional
debut at the age of 15, with the Brasstown Concert Association in North
Carolina. The guitarist is in demand in cultural venues throughout the
country, and has appeared many times on radio and television, including
National Public Radio. Fletcher’s recordings — The Art of the Classical
Guitar, A Peter Fletcher Recital, Fedrico Mompou: Guitar Works, and
Peter Fletcher Plays Erik Satie — have all received critical acclaim.
Fletcher’s newest CD, Peter Fletcher Plays Baroque Music for Guitar, was
released last October. The public is invited, no reservations required.
Lou Ann is a storyteller, a theater coach, an

you can find me writing late into the evening under the light of my old
scarlet, frayed lamp. I am a believer in small towns in America and the
blog is written to bring focus to them and to save them!
I also garden and am deeply aware of the environment and the issues."
Free Estate Planning Seminar
Tuesday March 19 at 6:30 pm.

Have you done your estate planning yet? Initially we stay occupied making certain we can pay the bills.
If we are fortunate, we gradually accumulate money and assets. It's that "accumulating" thing that leads us to
estate planning. Some people take estate planning seriously. Some do it by default. Everyone has an estate
plan which they design or one which the legislature designs.
Local attorney Latriealle Wheat leads this seminar. Whether you are well-read on the subject, or know very little, you will likely find the information helpful.
*What happens to my assets when I die if I have signed no Will or trust document?
* How can I be assured that my assets reach the people I intend to benefit?
* How can I accomplish the transfer of the assets with the minimum possible administrative costs and
tax liability.
* What is a probate asset? What is a non-probate asset?
These and more will be answered. Bring in your questions as we explore state planning education.
