Katherine Howe and Rebecca Makkai Visit

New York Times Best-Selling author Katherine Howe visits the library on Saturday June 2 at 1:00 pm. She will be discussing her newest book The House of Velvet and Glass. We can't wait to hear from her again, we so enjoyed her last visit.












On Tuesday June 12 at 6:30 pm. Rebecca Makkai will visit the Carnegie Library to discuss her debut novel The Borrower. In this delightful, funny and moving first novel, a librarian and a young boy obsessed with reading take to the road. Booklist's names it as one of the top 10 debuts of 2011.

Basket Weaving Class with Karen


Karen Griffith's next basket weaving class is the very popular and must have Market Basket. This square to round basket is 15" wide, 6 inches deep, 10" across and 11 1/2" high. For beginners as well as weaving "veterans." All supplies are furnished class fee is $22.00. Please register at the library website event calendar or call 665-3362.
