Ceramic Artist from Fort Wayne

Maria Coward is a ceramic artist who graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in 2010. Pottery is her passion and she especially loves Raku. It is primarily a Japanese firing process that produces vibrant and metallic effects. The history of Raku is an interesting process and is closely tied to Japanese history and tradition. This program is being sponsored by the Angola Regional Artist Guild. The public is invited to attend. She will be speaking in the large meeting room in the Carnegie Public Library of Steuben County.
