Camera Basics Workhop

Barbara Hale, owner of Jitterbug Photography Studio will teach a camera workshop on Thursday Feb. 9 at 5:30 pm. Bring your camera and camera manual. You will learn about formatting cards, lighting and the first steps to understanding your camera. Register at the library website under event calendar. The workshop is free.

Take the LIbrary Quiz

In celebration of Library Lovers Month the library has a little quiz you can take, it will help you get to know your library better. Everyone over 18 is welcome to enter a drawing to win a $35.00 gift certificate to Lake Shore Design Center, INC. You do not have to have a library card to enter. It will be challenging and fun, go for it!

New Display Case for Reference Dept.

The Steuben County Old Settler Record is currently sitting in a new glass display case made by members of the N.E.I. Woodworkers Club. Dewey Powers Hardwoods donated some of the red oak lumber used and Don Wunrow donated lumber. Leonard Roselle did most of the construction and finishing work. The leaded, beveled and stained glass back panel was made and donated by LuAnne Dennis. The display case is beautifully made and we thank those who contributed. Talk to a Lawyer Day is Monday Jan. 16

The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana in conjunction with the Indiana Bar Association presents an opportunity for attorneys statewide to offer free legal consultations to members of the general public. This service is open to the public without regard to income, on a first come first served basis. It will be held from 9 am to 4 pm.
